These terms govern your use of iloveepub.com (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. They are intentionally short, because the site itself is simple: free browser-based tools, no accounts, no uploads.

What the service is

iloveepub.com provides free tools for working with EPUB and PDF files. All processing happens locally in your web browser. The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not promise that any specific tool will remain available, that results will be suitable for every purpose, or that processing will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep a backup of your original files — tools here modify copies, but the safest habit is to never work on your only copy of anything.

Your files and your content

• Your files remain yours. They are processed on your device and are never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by us. We claim no license, right, or interest in anything you open with our tools.
• You are responsible for what you process. This includes having the rights to the files you work on and to any content they contain.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to break the law or to attempt to circumvent copyright protection or Digital Rights Management (DRM) on books you do not own. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the site or its hosting infrastructure. Tools that convert between formats are intended for files you have the right to use; removing DRM is not something this site does or helps with.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of this site shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because all processing occurs on your own device and we never hold your files, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us to use the site (which is zero, because the site is free).

Third-party links and trademarks

The site links to third-party websites, including our sister site e-ink.me. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or policies. "EPUB" is a registered trademark of the W3C; "Kindle", "Kobo", "Apple Books", and all other product names and trademarks mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is descriptive and implies no affiliation or endorsement.

The iloveepub.com name and site design belong to us. You may link to this site freely; you may not republish its articles or design as your own.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
